Jaime Laurin is from a far-away land know as Massachusetts. The fear of winter coming inspired Jaime to complete a BS in Kinesiology while attending UMass Amherst. It is here that Jaime became wicked smaht and developed a strong interest in exercise physiology. As a student in the Translational Research on Aging and Chronic Disease Lab her research interests include the study of oxidative stress on skeletal muscle adaptations and aging. In her free time, Jaime hikes, enjoys line dancing, sampling craft beers, and is actively seeking inner peace achieving Yoganda (yoga master) status.
